Role description
The Expertise You Have • Bachelor’s degree in computer science / similar technical subject area and or equivalent experience • Experience as a Power BI Developer with a strong portfolio of built reports, dashboards, and visualizations. • Hands-on PowerBI Developer. • Proficient in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, DAX, Power Query (M Language), Semantic model development and custom visuals. • Conceptual understanding of embedding reports in portal environment • Knowledge of Power BI governance, security settings, and user access management. • Experience with large-scale data visualization • Understanding security roles (RLS) implementation within PowerBI • Hands-on experience working with Snowflake data warehouse, including integration, data modeling, and SQL querying. • Extensive experience in Data engineering, Data Modeling and Data analysis • Strong understanding of data modeling concepts (star schema, snowflake schema, etc.) and the ability to design scalable data models. • ETL Experience. • Hands on experience with SQL & Performance Tuning in relation with Snowflake queries. Ability to work with large datasets efficiently. • Understanding best practices and implementation of standards within Power BI reports. • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot data or report issues. • Experience with CI/CD for BI & Data Pipelines • Experience with Snowflake-specific features, such as Snowflake data sharing, Snowpipe, or Snowflake Streams. • Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS and Azure in relation to Snowflake. • Hands on java / python skills .
