Power BI Financial Consultant

Power BI Financial Consultant Location: Remote (US Only; preference to candidates in EST and CST) Duration: 6-9 Months, potential for extension We are actively working with an amazing company in the professional services industry is looking for a Power BI Super User with a strong background in finance and/or accounting to join their team on a project basis for the next 6-9 months. This urgent hire is driven by a value-add, reporting & database development project. The ideal candidate has experience creating Power BI dashboards from scratch, identifying value add KPIs, and navigating Salesforce along with other disparate systems. The candidate needs to be able to communicate with various cross-functional leaders to effectively tell the story of the data and train cross-functional department leaders to become super users themselves within the framework created. MUST HAVE QUALIFICATIONS: • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, or Engineering • 5+ years of corporate finance or finance support experience, with a focus on Power BI development • Experience owning the Power BI dashboard creation/development from scratch with a focus on KPIs for due diligence, including bookings, billings, revenue, EBITDA, etc. • Experience training other users to be self-sufficient within a decentralized Power BI environment with the goal of reducing the users' reliance on Excel • Solid understanding of financial statements • Experience with Salesforce • Excel: Intermediate to Advanced skills - pivot tables, lookups, indexing, with data set up to 500k rows PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: • Experience with Microsoft Business Central • Subscription, SaaS, or ARR environment experience • Experience presenting to executive leadership BrainWorks specializes in providing exceptional Interim talent to help businesses navigate critical challenges, maintain continuity, and achieve their goals.
