Role description
Classification: Contract Contract Length: 3-months Location: • • Nashville, TN candidates only • • Position Summary We are seeking a strategic and technically fluent Power BI Lead to drive the delivery of enterprise-level dashboards and AI-enhanced analytics supporting Agile transformation, DevOps acceleration, QBR processes, and talent development. This role requires leadership in both traditional BI practices and next-generation AI-powered insight delivery. Responsibilities • Lead the architecture, design, and deployment of Power BI dashboards across Agile, DevOps, and strategic transformation areas. • Define and deliver AI-augmented dashboards, integrating ML outputs and predictive analytics into executive views. • Collaborate with data science teams to ingest models and expose insights (e.g., Agile Maturity prediction, risk scoring, team health trends). • Drive adoption of intelligent reporting using what-if analysis, forecasting, anomaly detection, and natural language Q&A features. • Ensure consistency in design, data governance, and semantic models across all dashboards. • Lead a team of Power BI Engineers; guide development best practices and code reviews. • Engage with stakeholders across HR, Finance, Agile CoE, and Product to define metrics and business rules. Requirements • 7+ years of Power BI experience; 2+ years in a lead or solution architect role. • Experience delivering AI-infused dashboards or integrating Azure ML, Python/R, or AI services into Power BI reports. • Expertise in DAX, Power Query, data modeling, and report lifecycle management. • Understanding of data science concepts (regression, classification, clustering) and their application in business dashboards. • Proven ability to collaborate with executive stakeholders and align metrics with strategic objectives. • Strong storytelling skills through data; ability to present insights, not just visuals • Remote with onsite travel once a month. • Experience creating agile and DevOps metrics dashboard against JIRA/ADO and GitHub
