Power BI Specialist
Location: Onsite – Houston Corporate Office
Description:
The Power BI Specialist will design, develop, and maintain dashboards and report visualizations in the Power BI Service. This role involves working closely with the Big Data team and business stakeholders to understand requirements, create solutions, and deliver impactful dashboards that meet business needs.
Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and support Power BI reports and visualizations using best practices
• Publish reports and dashboards via Power BI Service for sharing and collaboration
• Optimize dashboards for usability and performance
• Translate requirements into effective dashboard designs
• Work on metrics and calculations using Power BI functions
• Consolidate and aggregate data for visualizations
• Schedule dashboard refreshes and configure proactive notifications
Must Have:
• 4+ years of experience in Power BI dashboard and report development
• Strong communication skills for client and internal team interaction
• Expertise in publishing reports and dashboards using Power BI Service
• Proficiency in Power Query and DAX
• Ability to identify and resolve data quality issues
Nice to Have:
• Ability to educate users on Power BI development and best practices
• Experience with Power BI governance and security
