Role description
Role Overview:
The selected candidate will support the Health Hazard Control Unit (HHCU) within the Environmental Health Section by designing, developing, and maintaining solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem. This role focuses on automating business processes, building enterprise applications, integrating systems, and enhancing operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and deploy solutions using Power Apps (Canvas & Model-Driven), Power Automate, and Dataverse.
• Build automated workflows to streamline business operations and replace manual processes.
• Design and optimize Dataverse tables, business rules, relationships, and application logic.
• Integrate Power Platform solutions with Microsoft 365, Azure services, SQL Server, REST APIs, and third-party systems.
• Develop custom connectors, forms, data models, and enterprise applications.
• Troubleshoot workflow, application, and performance issues.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver effective solutions.
• Maintain technical documentation, user guides, and design specifications.
• Implement best practices for security, governance, ALM, and environment management.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in Microsoft Power Platform development and implementation.
• 7+ years of hands-on experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Virtual Agents, and Dataverse.
• 7+ years of experience working with SQL databases and database integrations.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 integrations, including Teams, SharePoint, and Outlook.
• Experience working with REST APIs, JSON, and modern integration technologies.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong organizational, prioritization, and time management skills.
Highly Desired:
• Microsoft Power Platform Developer Associate Certification (PL-400) or higher.
• Experience with Power BI, Power Pages, or Power Automate Desktop (RPA).
• Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub, and CI/CD practices.
