Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Power Platform Subject Matter Expert (SME) / Lead to support our global rollout of a critical business application. This role will be primarily focused on collaborating with our Italian development team, capturing Voice of Customer (VOC) inputs from US business stakeholders, and providing hands-on technical leadership through design, development, testing, and post-go-live support.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on technical expert who thrives in an Agile environment and can bridge the gap between technical execution and business requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Partner with US business stakeholders to gather and translate Voice of Customer (VOC) requirements into functional and technical specifications.
• Collaborate closely with the Italian project team to ensure alignment across design, development, and deployment activities.
• Lead and contribute to the design, configuration, and customization of applications built on the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and SharePoint).
• Support user acceptance testing (UAT), manage feedback cycles, and ensure successful adoption of the solution.
• Provide hypercare and post-go-live support to ensure smooth transition and stabilization of the application.
• Operate within an Agile delivery model, participating in sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and stand-ups.
• Act as a technical mentor and SME for internal teams, ensuring adherence to best practices in Power Platform development and governance.
• Ensure compliance with enterprise security, data governance, and architecture standards.
Technical Skill Set Required:
• Power Apps (Canvas & Model-Driven) – strong hands-on experience in building and managing applications.
• Power Automate – deep expertise in automating workflows and business processes.
• Power BI – ability to design, develop, and optimize reports and dashboards.
• SharePoint Online – proficiency in integrating and extending Power Platform solutions with SharePoint.
• Experience with Dataverse and Microsoft 365 ecosystem integration is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and lifecycle management in Power Platform.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related discipline.
• 10–17 years of total IT experience, with at least 5+ years of hands-on experience in Power Platform technologies.
• Demonstrated success in multi-region application rollouts and stakeholder collaboration across time zones.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to act as a liaison between business and technical teams.
• Microsoft certifications such as PL-400 (Power Platform Developer), PL-600 (Solution Architect), or PL-900 (Fundamentals) are a plus.
