Job Title: PowerApps Developer
Location: Fully Remote
Contract Length: 6 months initially, highly likely to extend to 12 months
IR35: Outside IR35
Day Rate: £342.00
Business Area: Sustainable FM / National Contracts
We are seeking an experienced Power Apps Developer to join a growing digital transformation project the Public Sector. This role is fully remote and involves building a large‑scale, business‑critical application used to manage thousands of monthly project records.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and deploy Power Apps (Canvas) applications
• Build automated workflows using Power Automate
• Work with SharePoint as the primary data source (Dataverse not currently licensed)
• Optimise apps to handle large datasets and manage delegation challenges
• Integrate data from multiple business areas including finance and operational systems
• Provide demos, documentation, and support to stakeholders
• Collaborate with the clients, leading requirement discussions and shaping technical scope
• Support and enhance existing Power Platform solutions as needed
• Ensure scalability, performance, and security best practices are met
Key Skills & Experiences
• Proven experience with Power Apps (Canvas) and Power Automate
• Strong working knowledge of SharePoint Online as a data backend
• Experience integrating Power Apps with Power BI
• Ability to create Power Fx expressions and manage app logic
• Understanding of custom connectors and API integrations
• Ability to troubleshoot and design around delegation limits for large datasets
• Excellent stakeholder management skills — especially important due to their engagement
