Principal Tech Lead – Agentic AI Platforms Charlotte,NC 12+ Months Contract The candidate will lead 2–3 engineers and own end-to-end architecture and execution. Mandatory Skills • 10+ years backend / distributed systems experience • Strong Python (production microservices) • Experience deploying and operating production-scale systems • Agentic AI architecture experience • MCP (Model Context Protocol) knowledge • At least one Agentic framework: AutoGen / CrewAI / LangGraph / OpenAI Swarm / Google ADK / Claude SDK / Custom • OpenTelemetry (mandatory) • Enterprise Observability (logs, metrics, distributed tracing) • Self-Healing / automated remediation systems • Kafka (preferred) or RabbitMQ / Redis MQ / RedPanda • Strong knowledge of event-driven architecture, retries, idempotency, circuit breakers • RAG implementation • Vector DB (Pinecone / Qdrant / Weaviate / pgvector / FAISS) • Neo4j (Graph DB) • Microservices & REST APIs • Strong System Design (scalability, HA, fault tolerance) • Experience in performance tuning & root cause analysis • Docker • CI/CD understanding Preferred • Kubernetes • Greenfield project ownership • Led 2–3 engineers • Product engineering background • Secure system design experience
