Role - Business Analyst – Privileged Access Management (PAM)
Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst with deep Privileged Access Management (PAM) experience, specializing in CyberArk or Delinea platforms. This role bridges business needs with technical execution, ensuring secure, compliant, and efficient management of privileged access across the enterprise. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical capabilities with hands‑on familiarity in PAM technologies and identity security best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering
• Partner with security, infrastructure, and application teams to understand business processes and translate them into PAM requirements.
• Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and process mapping to identify privileged access risks and improvement opportunities.
• Document functional and non‑functional requirements, user stories, workflows, and acceptance criteria.
PAM Program Support
• Support the design, implementation, and optimization of PAM solutions using CyberArk or Delinea (Thycotic).
• Assist in onboarding applications, accounts, and systems into the PAM platform.
• Analyze current-state privileged access processes and recommend enhancements aligned with industry best practices.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to validate solution designs and ensure alignment with business needs.
Governance, Risk & Compliance
• Contribute to the development of PAM policies, standards, and procedures.
• Support audit and compliance activities by providing documentation, evidence, and process explanations.
• Identify control gaps and help drive remediation efforts.
Project Coordination & Communication
• Act as a liaison between business units, security teams, and technical implementers.
• Track project milestones, risks, and dependencies; provide clear status updates.
• Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure successful rollout of PAM capabilities.
Required Qualifications
• 3–7 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Security Analyst, or similar role.
• Hands‑on experience with CyberArk (PIM/PAM Suite, EPM, CPM, PSM, Vault) or Delinea (Secret Server, Privilege Manager).
• Strong understanding of identity and access management (IAM), least privilege principles, and privileged account lifecycle.
• Experience writing requirements, process flows, and technical documentation.
• Ability to analyze complex systems and translate technical concepts for non‑technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (SOX, PCI, HIPAA, ISO 27001) and security best practices.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience supporting PAM integrations with Windows, Linux, databases, cloud platforms, and enterprise applications.
• Knowledge of authentication technologies (LDAP, AD, MFA, SSO).
• Background in cybersecurity, IT operations, or risk management.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CyberArk Defender/Sentry, Delinea certifications, Security+, CISSP, CISA).
Soft Skills
