Role description
Process Analyst (Data Quality & Process Mapping) β London β Banking β Hybrid
An experienced Process Analyst is required by a growing specialist bank to play a critical role in the bankβs enterprise data quality transformation.
This role will use facets of business analysis, process engineering, and data governance disciplines. Following a major centralisation of data into GCP, you will be responsible for mapping end-to-end business processes to ensure the bank operates with trusted, well-governed data.
You will be the bridge between business SMEs, technology teams, and data owners, translating operational processes into structured BPMN models.
Essential experience:
β’ Proven experience in business process analysis or process engineering within financial services, ideally banking
β’ Working with the business to identify and define Critical Data Elements (CDE) within mapped processes
β’ Strong proficiency in process mapping tools.
β’ Data Literacy: Experience developing detailed data element mapping, data dictionaries, or metadata specifications.
β’ A good understanding of data governance concepts including data quality, data definitions, data lineage, ownership, and controls.
Ideally, you will also have:
β’ Experience with lending and deposits processes in a bank.
β’ Knowledge of cloud data platforms, specifically Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
β’ Regulatory Awareness: Understanding of regulatory drivers such as PRA and FCA expectations around data management.
This is a hybrid role (3 days in the London office) for an analytical and structured professional who is comfortable working in environments undergoing change and transformation.
