Job Title- Process Improvement Manager Project Location remote ok, must be from EST or CST Duration- 6+ months contract to hire Visa- USC/ GC Our client, a leading enterprise services organization, is expanding its Process Improvement and Business Operationsteam. They are seeking five Manager-level professionals (5 + years' experience) to drive efficiency, compliance, and scalability across quoting, pricing, billing, product master, and contract-compliance functions. Each role focuses on process optimization, data accuracy, and operational governance. Salesforce CPQ and/or Workday Financials background is preferred but not required. Common Requirements • 5 + years of experience in business process improvement, order-to-cash, or revenue operations. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; technical aptitude to work with CRM/ERP data. • Process-oriented mindset; ability to map and re-engineer workflows end-to-end. • Professional presence; able to collaborate cross-functionally and present to leadership. • Salesforce CPQ experience (configuration, product/catalog setup, usage components) a plus. • Workday Financials familiarity helpful (not HCM). • Must be self-directed and comfortable with ambiguity. • Certificates in Process Improvement and Six Sigma desired 1 Process Improvement Manager Quoting & Contract Operations Function: Enforce contract policies and streamline quoting and contracting operations (formerly "Command Center"). Key Responsibilities • Lead process improvement across quoting workflows in Salesforce CPQ. • Define and enforce contract-policy controls, approvals, and governance checkpoints. • Rebuild or reconcile data where cutover was incomplete (pricing tiers, MSA data, SLAs). • Partner with Legal and Sales Ops to ensure contract data accuracy and auditability. • Maintain documentation for approval hierarchies, version control, and change logs. Ideal Profile • Background in quote-to-cash or contract operations. • Strong Salesforce CPQ configuration/process knowledge. • Experience designing approval flows, MSA/pricing controls, and data validation rules. 2 Process Improvement Manager Pricing & Configuration Function: Own process governance around product pricing and configuration published for Sales. Key Responsibilities • Redesign pricing and catalog management processes to ensure consistency across systems. • Maintain and validate product/pricing master data used for quoting and billing. • Collaborate with Finance and Sales Ops to align price books and discount structures. • Implement controls for pricing accuracy, margin protection, and audit compliance. • Support Salesforce CPQ catalog setup and Workday financial integration as needed. Ideal Profile • Strong understanding of pricing models, subscriptions, and CPQ configuration. • Proven success optimizing approval and publishing processes for price updates. • Familiarity with revenue recognition and contract pricing governance. 3 Process Improvement Manager Billing & Revenue Operations Function: Strengthen billing, usage, and revenue-capture processes for subscriptions, services, and usage-based models. Key Responsibilities • Drive process improvement for billing data accuracy and timeliness. • Rebuild or reconcile usage and subscription data where migrations were incomplete. • Implement metrics for billing completeness, exception handling, and dispute management. • Coordinate with Finance to align billing schedules and revenue recognition policies. • Ensure all billed activities align with contract terms and MSAs. Ideal Profile • Experience in subscription billing, usage reconciliation, or revenue operations. • Salesforce Billing or Workday Financials background helpful. • Strong understanding of order-to-cash metrics and compliance requirements. 4 Process Improvement Manager Product Master Governance Function: Maintain a controlled environment and data integrity across the product master. Key Responsibilities • Define and enforce standards for product master data creation, updates, and hierarchy. • Establish governance for SKU lifecycle, bundling, and component management. • Partner with Pricing, Billing, and IT teams to ensure alignment across systems. • Audit and reconcile legacy data; ensure catalog accuracy post-implementation. • Develop SOPs for change requests and version management. Ideal Profile • Experience managing master-data governance for products, SKUs, or pricing hierarchies. • Salesforce CPQ catalog or ERP (Workday/Oracle/SAP) product master experience a plus. • Strong documentation discipline and cross-functional coordination skills. 5 Process Improvement Manager Contract Compliance Function: Ensure all contract commitments and operational controls are followed across fulfillment, billing, and service delivery. Key Responsibilities • Build compliance dashboards and tracking mechanisms for contractual obligations. • Verify fulfillment, go-live activations, and billing milestones are completed as agreed. • Follow up with functional owners (Pricing, Billing, Product, Services) to maintain SOP adherence. • Maintain MSA and SLA compliance documentation and exception logs. • Provide audit support and continuous-improvement recommendations. Ideal Profile • Background in contract governance, compliance, or operations audit. • Familiarity with Salesforce data and reporting; able to trace process compliance end-to-end. • Excellent communication and stakeholder management across business and legal teams.
