Product Data Scientist (Contract) Midlands-based £450 per day (Inside IR35) 3-Month Contract Hybrid - 2 days in the office An opportunity to join a data-led organisation during a period of meaningful growth, where product decisions are shaped by insight and experimentation. This contract role offers the chance to work closely with product, engineering and commercial teams, influencing strategy through robust analysis and clear data storytelling. The Role and Deliverables • Partner with product and business teams to uncover user behaviour, pain points and opportunities using quantitative analysis and insight • Design and support experiments, develop hypotheses, and help size and prioritise new product opportunities • Define, align and document key metrics, working with engineers to ensure consistent and reliable data foundations • Build and maintain self-serve dashboards and analytical tools to enable data-informed decision-making • Deliver deep-dive analysis and clear recommendations to support strategic product and business initiatives • Contribute to a central insights and knowledge hub, promoting transparency and shared understanding across teams Your Skills & Experience • Strong experience applying data analysis in a product-focused or digitally native environment • Proficiency with analytical tools and languages such as SQL, Python or R, and familiarity with modern BI platforms • Ability to translate complex business questions into structured analytical approaches and actionable insight • Strong data storytelling skills, with confidence presenting findings to stakeholders at varying levels • A proactive, detail-oriented mindset with a genuine curiosity about user behaviour • Comfortable working collaboratively while also operating independently within a senior analytics environment How to Apply Register your interest by sending your CV to Ananya Gupta via the Apply Link on this page.
