Role description
Our Client, a Global Insurance Firm, is seeking a Product Insights & Analytics Specialist in their New York, NY location. About the Team The Product Insights & Analytics team delivers insights-driven analysis that supports optimization across client growth and retention programs, including Field Web (Agent & General Office digital presence) and Financial Education initiatives. The team partners closely with Product, Strategy, Marketing, and Field Enablement, transforming complex data into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders. Role Overview We’re seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented insights professional to own monthly reporting for key digital acquisition programs and support ad-hoc analyses. You’ll work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment where accuracy, clarity, and curiosity are essential. Storytelling, data integrity, and visually compelling presentations are core to this role. Key Responsibilities 1. Monthly Reporting β€’ Develop, compile, and present recurring reporting for high-visibility programs, clearly identifying performance trends, drivers, and the β€œwhy” behind outcomes. β€’ Reconcile data from multiple sources into cohesive, trustworthy deliverables. β€’ Conduct thorough data validation across all reporting. Financial Education: β€’ Own monthly reporting using Salesforce, Excel-based sources, Tableau, PowerBI, and internal datasets. Agent & GO Websites: β€’ Lead monthly reporting using Google Analytics and additional internal/vendor data sources. β€’ Extract, segment, and organize Google Analytics data into insights aligned with program goals. 1. Ad-Hoc & Project-Based Analysis β€’ Deliver targeted analyses, diagnostic deep-dives, and trend reviews for leadership and partner teams. β€’ Support analytics readiness by validating new metrics, integrating new data, and shaping measurement frameworks. β€’ Ensure accurate performance tracking by updating and validating UTMs across agent digital properties. 1. Cross-Functional Collaboration β€’ Partner across the Client Growth & Retention Value Stream to align on measurement needs and insight priorities. β€’ Support reporting automation and process streamlining by identifying essential metrics. β€’ Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for third-party reporting vendors, overseeing data delivery and quality. Must-Haves (Non-Negotiable) β€’ Advanced proficiency in Google Analytics (creating/manipulating dashboards). β€’ Expert Excel and PowerPoint skills. β€’ Tableau or similar data visualization experience. β€’ Demonstrated ability to present data to stakeholders with both analytical rigor and big-picture thinking. β€’ Strong attention to detail, especially when reconciling multiple data sources. β€’ A mindset focused on identifying why outcomes occurred, not just reporting what happened. Deal Breakers β€’ No experience presenting data-backed insights to stakeholders. β€’ Lack of advanced-level skill in Google Analytics, Excel, or PowerPoint. R equired Skills & Experience β€’ 5+ years in data analysis, insights, marketing analytics, or a related field. β€’ Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Analytics. β€’ Experience with Tableau or similar tools (Tableau preferred). β€’ Familiarity with insurance or financial services is a plus. β€’ SQL knowledge is a plus.
