Summary:
We are seeking a Product Owner – Generative AI to support the modernization of Commercial Banking client servicing through AI‑driven efficiencies. This role will focus on transforming highly manual workflows—such as client service changes for large enterprise accounts—into streamlined, automated processes using GenAI solutions.
The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of hands-on Generative AI product experience within financial services, along with broader product management experience in machine learning/AI solutions. This individual will own the GenAI product roadmap and ensure seamless alignment with the overall platform strategy across Commercial Banking.
Responsibilities:
Product Ownership & Roadmap
Serve as the Product Owner for GenAI capabilities supporting Commercial Banking client servicing.
Own and develop the GenAI product roadmap, ensuring it ladders up to the broader Commercial Banking technology strategy.
Identify, prioritize, and refine features that improve operational efficiency, reduce manual effort, and improve turnaround times for client service requests (e.g., signer updates, address changes).
Translate business requirements into clear epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Cross‑Functional Leadership
Partner closely with technology teams to deliver high‑quality GenAI products.
Collaborate with Commercial Banking operations, client servicing teams, governance groups, and executive stakeholders to ensure alignment and adoption.
Coordinate with enterprise Governance, Risk, and Compliance teams to ensure GenAI features adhere to internal controls and regulatory expectations.
Risk, Compliance & Cybersecurity Coordination
Ensure GenAI solutions meet risk management, cybersecurity, data privacy, and model governance standards.
Support documentation, process controls, and review cycles required for AI models in a regulated environment.
Manage stakeholder communication around risk, model transparency, explainability, and compliance.
Delivery & Execution
Lead backlog grooming, sprint planning, and ongoing product delivery activities.
Track KPIs and performance metrics for GenAI features, identifying opportunities for optimization.
Support change management, user enablement, and adoption activities throughout the organization.
Qualifications:
Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
1–2 years of direct experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner for Generative AI (LLMs, retrieval‑augmented generation, conversational AI, etc.).
Experience in financial services, banking, or another highly regulated environment.
Strong background in product management for AI/ML products, including model deployment cycles, data pipelines, and iterative experimentation.
Demonstrated ability to work with diverse technical and business teams.
Strong understanding of risk management, cybersecurity considerations, and model governance for AI products.
Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
Experience improving operational workflows or client-servicing processes in Commercial Banking. (preferred)
Familiarity with AI safety frameworks, model evaluation techniques, and human‑in‑the‑loop workflows. (preferred)
Exposure to enterprise‑scale transformation initiatives. (preferred)
