Product Owner

Product Owner Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Product Owner to drive product vision, roadmap, and delivery within an Agile environment. The Product Owner will collaborate with business stakeholders, engineering teams, UX designers, and leadership to define product requirements, prioritize features, and ensure successful product releases that align with business objectives and customer needs. The ideal candidate should possess strong Agile/Scrum expertise, stakeholder management skills, and experience translating business requirements into actionable user stories. Key Responsibilities • Define and communicate product vision, strategy, and roadmap. • Gather, analyze, and prioritize business and customer requirements. • Create and manage product backlog, user stories, and acceptance criteria. • Work closely with Scrum teams during sprint planning, grooming, reviews, and retrospectives. • Collaborate with stakeholders, developers, QA teams, architects, and UX/UI teams. • Ensure timely delivery of product features and enhancements. • Translate business requirements into functional specifications. • Prioritize backlog items based on business value and customer impact. • Monitor product performance, KPIs, and customer feedback. • Drive continuous product improvement and innovation. • Coordinate UAT activities and production releases. • Maintain alignment between business goals and technical implementation. Required Skills • Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and SAFe methodologies. • Experience with backlog management and sprint planning. • Expertise in creating user stories, epics, workflows, and acceptance criteria. • Experience with tools such as: • JIRA • Confluence • Azure DevOps • Rally • Strong stakeholder communication and collaboration skills. • Analytical and problem-solving abilities. • Experience working with cross-functional teams. • Knowledge of SDLC and product lifecycle management. Preferred Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or SAFe POPM certification preferred. • Experience in Agile product delivery environments. • Domain experience in Banking, Healthcare, Retail, Insurance, Telecom, or Technology is a plus. Preferred Technical Exposure (Optional) Depending on project requirements: • APIs & Microservices • Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) • Data Analytics & Reporting • AI/ML or Generative AI products • Mobile/Web applications Experience Required • 9+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or Product Manager. • Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery models. Nice to Have • Experience with digital transformation projects. • Exposure to customer-centric product development. • Knowledge of UX/UI principles and analytics tools.
