Job#: 3032029 Job Description: Professional - Business Analyst III Location: Houston, Texas (Onsite) Employment Type: 6+ Month Contract Schedule: Hybrid. 4 days onsite, 1 remote. Role Overview A qualified Business Analyst is sought to support a Smart Metering Program deploying the latest gas metering infrastructure and systems. This role is part of a program team delivering a multi-year roadmap for the next generations of smart metering and devices. The position involves staying current on process and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems. Key Responsibilities • Perform requirements gathering and analysis for metering deployment across multiple workstreams. • Conduct meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings. • Document and communicate the results of analysis and efforts. • Communicate insights and plans to cross-functional team members and program management. • Gather critical information from stakeholder meetings to align deployment interdependencies. • Ensure deployment solutions meet business needs and requirements. • Develop integration test plans for gas metering systems across various environments. • Perform data mapping from a client-server application to SAP based on end-user requirements. • Conduct end-user acceptance testing as part of the project team. • Validate meter data across the end-to-end IT architecture solution. • Serve as a liaison between program stakeholders and metering end-users. • Evaluate business processes related to metering devices, identify areas for improvement, and develop solutions. Required Qualifications Education: A Bachelor's degree in business management, economics, finance, accounting, or a relevant field is required. Experience: 5-7 years of relevant experience is required. Compensation & Benefits The estimated pay rate for this position is $50.00 to $55.00 per hour.
