Project Management Specialist

JOB DETAILS:- Position: Financial Data Analyst Contract: 6 months contract (extension and perm possibility) Shift: 8 AM - 5 PM (Mon-Fri) ; 40hrs/ weekly Address : REMOTE ( EST time zone only) Payrate: Competitive Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented Data & Business Analyst to support strategic analysis and process improvement initiatives within Private Capital & Equity (PC&E). This role will focus on financial data analysis, process optimization, and cross-functional collaboration with investment, operations, and technology teams. The ideal candidate has a strong background in finance, private equity, or financial services, with excellent data handling and communication skills. Job Duties & Responsibilities: • Collect, clean, and analyze financial and operational data across PC&E strategies • Identify inefficiencies in internal processes and recommend improvements • Develop actionable insights from large datasets using Excel and BI tools • Collaborate with investment, operations, and tech teams to deliver custom analytical solutions • Support internal reporting needs using tools such as Power BI or Tableau • Assist with project planning, risk tracking, and stakeholder communications • Maintain high accuracy in data management and reporting Job Requirements: • Education: Bachelor’s in Finance, Economics, Business, Data Science, or a related field • Experience: • 5+ years in a data-focused or business analyst role within finance, PE, consulting, or investment banking • Strong project management and reporting experience • Technical Skills: • Advanced Excel skills; experience with Power BI or Tableau preferred • Familiarity with systems like eFront, Salesforce, or portfolio management tools is a plus Soft Skills: • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
