Job Summary
We are looking for a creative and technically skilled Prompt Engineer to design, test, and optimize prompts for large language models (LLMs) and other generative AI systems. You will work closely with data scientists, product managers, and developers to enhance model performance, improve user experience, and ensure alignment with business goals.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and refine prompts to elicit accurate, relevant, and safe responses from LLMs.
• Conduct prompt experiments to evaluate model behavior and performance across use cases.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate prompt engineering into product workflows.
• Analyze model outputs and identify patterns, biases, or failure modes.
• Develop prompt libraries and documentation for internal use and scalability.
• Stay up-to-date with advancements in generative AI, prompt tuning, and model alignment techniques.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, Data Science, or related field.
• Strong understanding of natural language processing (NLP) and machine learning concepts.
• Experience working with LLMs (e.g., GPT, Claude, PaLM, LLaMA).
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to write clear, concise, and context-aware prompts.
• Familiarity with Python and APIs for interacting with AI models.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with prompt tuning, fine-tuning, or reinforcement learning from human feedback (RLHF).
• Background in UX writing, technical writing, or conversational design.
• Knowledge of ethical AI principles and safety considerations.
• Prior experience in deploying AI-powered applications or chatbots.
