Akkodis is hiring for a Provider Data Analyst to support our client in the healthcare industry! Location: Remote (must work 8-5pm PST) Employment type: 4.5 month contract Pay: $30/hr The ideal candidate will leverage data analytics to improve healthcare operations, optimize processes, and support decision-making. This role involves collecting, analyzing, and interpreting healthcare data to identify trends, improve patient outcomes, and ensure regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities: • Analyze healthcare data sets to identify trends and provide actionable insights. • Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools like Excel, SQL, and BI platforms. • Collaborate with clinical and operational teams to support data-driven decision-making. • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with healthcare regulations (HIPAA). • Perform quality assurance and validation on data models and reporting outputs. • Support performance improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities for process optimization. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Health Informatics, Data Analytics, or related field. • 2+ years of experience in healthcare data analysis or related role. • Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and BI tools (Tableau, Power BI). • Strong understanding of healthcare terminology, billing systems, and regulatory requirements. • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Preferred: • Knowledge of Medi-Cal, Medicare, Medicaid, or managed care guidelines.
