Role description
TEKsystems is seeking a Business/Data Analyst with expertise in Microsoft Purview to join our Information Governance team. The ideal candidate will be have 2-5 years of experience working with Azure Purview / Microsoft Purview, experience within security governance and data prioritization, and great communication with the end customer and requirements gathering experience. Key Responsibilities β€’ Support the implementation and management of Microsoft Purview Information Protection solutions β€’ Continuously evaluate and improve existing data protection measures in line with regulatory and organization requirements β€’ Provide subject matter expertise and technical support on Microsoft Purview to assess, design and implement data governance solutions that align with client objectives. β€’ Collaborate to develop strategies for controlled unclassified information and privacy compliance using Microsoft Purview. β€’ Identify customer needs and requirements, recommend appropriate solutions, and proactively identify areas for improvement. β€’ Execute consulting projects by creating and completing deliverables, ensuring client needs and practice obligations are met. β€’ Participate in customer and internal meetings, providing technical guidance and facilitating discussions. β€’ Stay educated on new product technologies, industry trends, and emerging capabilities within the practice. β€’ Collaborate with stakeholders to assess change requests Competencies β€’ Communication: Can effectively communicate complex ideas and information to diverse audiences. β€’ Relationship Building: Can take ownership of complex team initiatives, collaborate with diverse groups, and drive results through effective relationship management. This is a highly collaborative space. β€’ Self-Motivation: Can take ownership of complex initiatives, collaborate with others when necessary, and drive results through self-motivation. β€’ Follow-Up: Can take ownership of tasks, collaborate with others in managing follow-ups, and drive results through effective task completion. β€’ Technical Troubleshooting: Can take ownership of complex technical problems, collaborate with others to manage solutions, and drive results in problem resolution. Other requirements β€’ Completed bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience is required. β€’ 18 months experience working with large organizations on security engineering projects with deep technical knowledge of Microsoft Purview. Preferably within the federal government space. β€’ Experience with data mapping/architecture is preferred β€’ Security+ or equivalent certification required β€’ Must be able to pass a high-risk public trust background investigation
