Python Automation Development Consultant

• • Client has restricted this role to US Citizens only. • • Python Automation Development Consultant Automation Development Consultant Pay rate: $65-70/hr w2 Job Description Candidate will be working collaboratively as part of team that is performing activities with Automation Development. In addition to the skill of automation development, they will also need to understand and write testing scripts for their work and be comfortable with error handling along with standard database interaction. Responsibilities • Full Stack senior developer with experience in front-end, back-end, database, microservices, authentication, authorization, and communication flows within the application. • Senior level Python skills with experience in Django Web Framework. • Experience writing modular code and custom Python libraries. • Expertise with communications using and developing restful APIs. • Automated Testing using pytest, unit test, and Sellenium. Xray experience is a plus. • Ability to contribute to front-end web development using HTML, bootstrap, CSS, JavaScript, and React. • Experience with automating network technologies such as route/switch, firewalls, load-balancers, and DNS. • Familiarity with cloud technologies such as Azure & AWS. Preferred Experience and Attributes Primary Development Technology Skills (Extensive Knowledge) • Python 3 • Django • Oracle/SQL • GIT • HTML Secondary Skills (Basic Knowledge) • Cisco Route/Switch • Palo Alto Firewalls • Azure • AWS Experience and Attributes • Collaborative attitude • Ability to work with other business units and application teams and drive application owners to success. • Strong sense of understanding the “big picture” and how everything comes together • Strong ability to multi-task, prioritize activities and work within deadlines. • Able to provide technical leadership to less experienced personnel either individually or as part of a team. • Possess excellent communication, writing, and interpersonal skills. Requirements • US Citizen. • Able to pass background check(s). • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. • Total of 15+ years' experience in the Information Technology industry, with a minimum of 7 years directly working as an Automation Developer.
