Role description
Leading Financial services/Credit risk client is looking for a Data & Automation Analyst to work on the automation and modernisation of an existing data pipeline built on Python, PySpark, and BigQuery.
This role will take ownership of migrating and automating the current pipeline using Astronomer (Google Cloud Composer/Apache Airflow), re-platforming individual pipeline steps to the most appropriate technology where needed.
Key Requirements:
• Strong Python experience, including PySpark.
• Solid SQL experience, ideally with BigQuery.
• Previous experience with a CRA/Credit risk environment is highly desirable.
• Strong experience developing and automation data pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Airflow, Google Cloud Composer, or Astronomer (or a strong equivalent)
• Strong communicator with the ability work in cross functional. Collaborative teams.
This is an initial 6-month contract which provides a daily rate of £660 (Inside IR35).
In terms of working structure, this is remote (UK based).
