Akkodis is seeking a Full-stack Python developer for a contract role with a client in Dearborn, MI. "The ideal candidate should have 7+ years of experience as a Python developer with Data Engineering Rate Range: $65/hour to $67/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Full-stack Python developer Job responsibilities include: • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines, microservices, and cloud-native solutions on GCP for real-time and batch processing. • Build service-oriented and microservices architectures to deliver flexible, reliable, and maintainable data platform capabilities. • Integrate front-end and back-end components to enable seamless data access, visualization, and user-driven analytics experiences. • Develop and optimize data ingestion frameworks using GCP services such as BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Functions. • Implement data governance, security controls, automation, and performance optimization to ensure scalable and compliant data operations. • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and cross-functional teams to establish best practices, enhance platform reliability, and drive cloud data engineering excellence.. Desired Qualifications: • 5–8 years of experience in full-stack and platform engineering with strong expertise in Python and cloud-native application development. • Design and develop scalable observability platforms, microservices, REST APIs, and self-service engineering tools. • Build and maintain cloud-based solutions using GCP/AWS/Azure, leveraging services such as BigQuery, Cloud Run, and Pub/Sub. • Develop responsive front-end applications using React, Angular, or Vue while delivering robust backend services. • Implement CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), automated testing, and DevOps best practices. • Drive platform reliability, monitoring, and operational excellence through observability tools such as Dynatrace and Datadog.
