Python Developer (AWS) β 8 Years Experience
Responsibilities
β’ Design, develop, and maintain robust backend systems and RESTful APIs using Python (Django, Flask, FastAPI).
β’ Architect and deploy scalable, cloud-native solutions leveraging AWS services (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, API Gateway, CloudFormation).
β’ Optimize backend performance, ensure system reliability, and implement security best practices in AWS environments.
β’ Integrate third-party APIs and services, and manage secure authentication/authorization.
β’ Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and data teams to deliver high-quality features.
β’ Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or AWS CodePipeline.
β’ Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code; perform unit and integration testing.
β’ Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems for optimal performance.
β’ Mentor junior developers and participate in architecture discussions.
Skills & Qualifications
β’ Bachelorβs or Masterβs in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
β’ 8+ years of backend development (Python), with hands-on AWS experience.
β’ Strong knowledge of microservices, RESTful API design, and serverless applications.
β’ Proficient with relational (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (DynamoDB, MongoDB) databases.
β’ Experience with Docker, Kubernetes (AWS EKS preferred), container orchestration, and Linux/Unix administration.
β’ Familiarity with security protocols (IAM, encryption, network configs).
β’ Excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
β’ Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation) is a plus.
β’ Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies
