Role description
Python Developer (AWS) – 8 Years Experience Responsibilities β€’ Design, develop, and maintain robust backend systems and RESTful APIs using Python (Django, Flask, FastAPI). β€’ Architect and deploy scalable, cloud-native solutions leveraging AWS services (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, API Gateway, CloudFormation). β€’ Optimize backend performance, ensure system reliability, and implement security best practices in AWS environments. β€’ Integrate third-party APIs and services, and manage secure authentication/authorization. β€’ Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and data teams to deliver high-quality features. β€’ Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or AWS CodePipeline. β€’ Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code; perform unit and integration testing. β€’ Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems for optimal performance. β€’ Mentor junior developers and participate in architecture discussions. Skills & Qualifications β€’ Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. β€’ 8+ years of backend development (Python), with hands-on AWS experience. β€’ Strong knowledge of microservices, RESTful API design, and serverless applications. β€’ Proficient with relational (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (DynamoDB, MongoDB) databases. β€’ Experience with Docker, Kubernetes (AWS EKS preferred), container orchestration, and Linux/Unix administration. β€’ Familiarity with security protocols (IAM, encryption, network configs). β€’ Excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills. β€’ Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation) is a plus. β€’ Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies
