Role description
Experience: 5–8 years total programming experience, with at least 3 years focused on Python development (preferably as the primary language in the most recent role). Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and deploy serverless and microservices-based applications. • Create new microservices and enhance existing ones. • Collaborate with front-end and back-end teams from design through implementation, deployment, and production support. • Maintain high-quality, testable, and efficient code. • Contribute to Agile/Scrum ceremonies and development best practices. Required Skills • Programming: 5–8 years overall, 3+ years of hands-on Python development. • Cloud Technologies: Strong working knowledge of AWS services such as ECS/Fargate, Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway, EC2, Kinesis, ELK, and RDS. • Version Control: GIT / GitHub. • CI/CD: Experience with Concourse and Jenkins. • Containers: Docker. • Databases: PostgreSQL, MongoDB/DocumentDB, Redis. • Testing: Experience writing unit and integration tests. • Methodologies: Agile, Scrum. • Soft Skills: Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Skills • Familiarity with GraphQL APIs. • Experience developing AsyncIO-style Python applications. • Proficiency in code reviews, linting (Pylint), and maintaining code coverage standards. • Strong sense of ownership and continuous learning mindset; passion for innovation and adopting new technologies.
