Role description
Responsibilities: • Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, technical leads, architects, and internal stakeholders to gather requirements and implement solutions. • Maintain and enhance enterprise services, applications, and platforms using domain-driven design and test-driven development. • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues and implement sustainable solutions. • Create detailed project specifications, requirements, and accurate effort estimates. • Research and implement new technologies to enhance security, performance, and development processes. • Contribute to coding standards and ensure adherence to security best practices. • Work closely with software architects to ensure alignment with enterprise technology strategy. Minimum Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience/training). • 3+ years of full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) experience. • 3+ years of professional development experience, including design and open-source contributions. Preferred Qualifications • 2–5 years of SDLC experience. • Airline industry experience. Technical Skills & Competencies • Python (Pandas, PySpark, NumPy, scikit-learn, PyTorch, SQL) • Java/J2EE (JSP, JMS, JAXB, JDBC, EJB) • Spring Framework, Spring Boot • REST/SOAP Web Services (JSON, WSDL, XML) • ORM: Hibernate, SQL/Oracle, performance tuning • Machine Learning implementation • Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks • R programming • Palantir Foundry (a plus) • Azure (App Services, Container Instances) • Docker, Terraform • GitHub and CI/CD pipelines • Angular, React • Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project) • Agile/SCRUM • DevOps Toolchain
