-Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
-7+ years in software development on collaborative teams
-Production-level Python expertise
-Strong knowledge of distributed and event-driven architectures
-Deep AWS experience (Lambda, ECS, S3, DynamoDB, SQS, API Gateway, IAM)
-Infrastructure as Code (AWS CDK or similar)
-ETL pipeline development for batch/real-time data processing
-Monitoring and observability tools (Datadog, CloudWatch, Prometheus)
-Django and Boto library experience
-Strong data processing experience
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
-Experience with other programming languages like Java or Go
-Financial / fintech domain experience (manager has strong preference to domain experience, but is open to talking to strong candidates without it)
-Exposure to portfolio analytics and benchmarking tools

Insight Global seeks a Senior Python Engineer to design, build, and maintain a real-time automated portfolio rebalancing solution. You’ll work across the full development lifecycle and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, reliable software. Responsibilities include:
-Integrate trading systems for multi-broker order management and execution
-Develop secure, scalable ETL pipelines for financial data
-Build microservices architecture with Kubernetes
-Design and implement clean, consistent APIs
-Mentor junior developers and support team growth
-Drive best practices in DevSecOps, CI/CD, and continuous improvement
