Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a Python Developer (Jersey City) to join their dynamic team. As a Python Developer (Jersey City), you will be part of the Software Development Department supporting innovative data management and migration projects. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, self-motivation, and analytical thinking, which will align successfully within the organization. Job Title: Python Developer (Jersey City) Location: Jersey City, NJ What's the Job? • Develop and deliver complex software solutions to meet business objectives and compliance standards. • Collaborate closely with lead developers to implement Python/ETL application architectures and designs. • Perform Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (CI-CD) activities to ensure seamless deployment. • Contribute to story refinement, requirement definition, and work estimation throughout the project lifecycle. • Analyze test reports, troubleshoot issues, and enhance existing test suites for better performance and reliability. What's Needed? • Minimum of 5 years of software development experience with a focus on Python programming. • Proficiency with Informatica PowerCenter/IDMC and Data Management/Migration. • Experience with Object-Oriented Programming for 3-5 years. • Strong knowledge of version control systems such as git or svn. • Experience with Agile development lifecycle and SDLC processes.
