Title: Python Software Developer Location: NYC and Alpharetta GA Please share resumes to Afnan.s@360ide.com About the Role We are seeking an experienced Python Software Developer to join a high-impact Cybersecurity Engineering team supporting a large-scale Vulnerability Management Program. This role sits at the intersection of Software Engineering and Data Engineering, focusing on processing, enriching, and distributing large volumes of cybersecurity scan data across enterprise platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on Python development expertise, experience building scalable backend systems, and exposure to cybersecurity or vulnerability management domains. This position requires someone capable of designing and delivering end-to-end technical solutions for complex business problems. \_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_ Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain scalable Python-based software solutions supporting cybersecurity platforms. • Build robust data pipelines to aggregate, normalize, enrich, and distribute vulnerability scan data from multiple security tools. • Re-architect and modernize existing systems using scalable and resilient architectures. • Support enterprise cybersecurity initiatives aligned with the Cyber Data Risk & Resilience (CDRR) roadmap. • Collaborate with global engineering teams, security stakeholders, and business partners to define technical requirements and deliver solutions. • Participate in system design discussions and contribute to architectural decision-making. • Ensure software solutions follow SDLC best practices, including testing, deployment, monitoring, and documentation. • Work in Agile development environments and support continuous improvement initiatives. • Communicate technical concepts effectively to both engineering and business audiences. • Analyze technical risks and provide recommendations for secure and scalable implementations. \_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_ Required Skills & Qualifications Must-Have Skills • 6+ years of hands-on experience in Python Development • Strong understanding of Software Engineering principles and SDLC • Experience with Data Engineering concepts and large-scale data processing • Experience in at least one Cybersecurity domain, such as: o Application Security o Vulnerability Management o Security Operations o Risk & Compliance o Strong experience with: • System Design • End-to-End Solution Development • Building scalable distributed applications • Experience solving substantial business problems with technical solutions • Prior experience in the Financial Services industry • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills • Cloud platform experience: o Microsoft Azure o Google Cloud Platform (GCP) • Exposure to cybersecurity tooling and vulnerability scanning platforms • Experience with enterprise data integration and API-driven systems
