Job Title: Python Automation Analyst (Contract) Company: Big Four Client Location (onsite): (1) Plano, TX [Preferred], (2) New York, NY, or (3) Chicago, IL Work Authorization: U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder Pay Rate: Max of $53 per hour (W2) Duration: 7+ Months Overview: We are seeking a Python Automation Analyst to deliver scalable data automation and analytics for marketing and campaign initiatives. The ideal candidate has at least 6 years of hands-on experience with Python, SQL, and Tableau, plus strong proficiency in Alteryx and SAS for data manipulation and campaign targeting. You will partner closely with stakeholders to translate business objectives into automated data pipelines and actionable dashboards. Key Responsibilities: β€’ Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives and deliver analytical solutions. β€’ Extract, integrate, and harmonize data from diverse sources using advanced SQL and SAS. β€’ Develop/debug SAS/SQL to define campaign target populations. β€’ Evaluate campaign performance with analysts to identify trends and insights. β€’ Build scalable data wrangling/transformation pipelines using Alteryx and Python. β€’ Automate workflows for data ingestion from databases, files, APIs. β€’ Continuously improve automation for efficiency and scalability. β€’ Develop and optimize Tableau dashboards/reports for campaign insights. β€’ Translate business requirements into technical specifications and delivery plans. β€’ Implement robust testing, logging, and monitoring for automated workflows. β€’ Document data flows, code, and dashboards to support maintainability and knowledge transfer. Required Skills & Qualifications: β€’ Bachelor’s in a quantitative field (Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Math, Business with quantitative focus). β€’ Minimum 6+ years of hands-on experience with Python, SQL, and Tableau building production-grade automation and analytics solutions. β€’ Proficient in Alteryx and Python for automation and transformation. β€’ Strong SAS programming skills for data manipulation and campaign selection. β€’ Advanced SQL expertise (complex joins, window functions, performance tuning) across large, complex datasets. β€’ Experience integrating data from APIs, files, and databases; solid understanding of ETL/ELT best practices and data quality controls. β€’ Ability to design clear data models and transform raw data into curated datasets for analytics and reporting. β€’ Strong communication skills and stakeholder management; experience working in Agile environments. Preferred Skills & Qualifications: β€’ Familiar with cloud platforms (AWS, Snowflake, Athena) and data storage. β€’ Knowledge of campaign management and marketing analytics. β€’ Experience with Git/version control. β€’ Financial services industry experience. β€’ Experience with job schedulers/orchestration (e.g., Airflow, Control-M) and Tableau Server/Cloud administration is a plus.
