Job description Role: Python Developer Location: Detroit , MI Experience: 5+ years Job Type: Contract Expected Work Hours: 8:30AM - 5:30PM EST Key Requirements: 1. Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience building production-grade data pipelines using Python and PySpark 1. Proven expertise in designing, deploying, and managing Airflow DAGs 1. Experience with CI/CD pipelines for data engineering workflows 1. Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and cloud platforms (GCP) 1. Strong object-oriented Python coding skills and dependency management 1. Proficiency with Git (branching, merging, workflows) 1. Unix/Linux command-line expertise 1. Solid SQL skills for data ingestion and analysis 1. Comfortable with collaborative development practices (code reviews, pair programming) 1. Engineering mindset focused on maintainability and testability 1.
