Python Developer [W2 Only]

Position: Python Developer Location: Maryland Heights, MO Duration: 6+ Months Contract Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Python Developer to join a technology team focused on building optimization tools that enhance field operations efficiency. The role involves solving complex optimization problems, developing scalable solutions, and contributing to a product designed to balance workloads and reduce travel time for technicians. The ideal candidate will be innovative, analytical, and comfortable adopting new technologies, with a keen interest in AI-driven development. Must-Have: • Strong hands-on experience in Python development (5+ years preferred) • Proven experience in solving optimization or automation challenges • Exposure to AI technologies or code generation tools • Familiarity with linear programming concepts or libraries (e.g., PuLP, SciPy) • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and enhance optimization tools for field operations • Collaborate with team members to implement scalable Python-based solutions • Analyze performance issues and improve system efficiency • Work on enhancements and feature requests for existing tools • Explore and integrate AI-driven approaches for automation and solution generation • Provide creative solutions and anticipate future technical needs
