Overview
We are seeking a Python Engineer with strong hands-on experience in containerized application development and deployment using Kubernetes and Docker. In this contingent assignment, you will contribute to complex software engineering initiatives that involve large-scale systems, automation, and cloud-native architecture.
You will collaborate closely with client teams to design, build, and optimize distributed applications while ensuring performance, reliability, and compliance across environments.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and deploy Python-based microservices in containerized environments (Docker + Kubernetes)
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application delivery and environment automation
• Collaborate with DevOps and infrastructure teams to ensure cloud-native scalability and resilience
• Optimize system performance and troubleshoot distributed system issues
• Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting for deployed services
• Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and engineering best practices
• Participate in code reviews, technical documentation, and sprint ceremonies
Required Qualifications
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with a focus on Python development
• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker for container orchestration and deployment
• Proficiency in building RESTful APIs and microservices using frameworks like Flask, FastAPI, or Django
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.)
• Experience with Linux-based environments and scripting for automation
• Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
• Solid understanding of object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithms
Nice to Have
• Cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud (GCP)
• Experience with Helm, Terraform, or Ansible
• Monitoring and logging exposure (Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana)
• Familiarity with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other message brokers
Ideal Candidate
• Passionate about automation, scalability, and high-performance systems
• Experienced in modern software delivery and DevOps principles
