Python Developer

Position : Python Developer Location : New York, NY (Hybrid 3 Day onsite in a week) Hire Type: Contract(W2) Client : Genesis10 Domain: Banking Interview Mode: 1 WebEx int and then possible in person or final webex interview and decision. Job Description: Must Have: - Expert Python development skills with strong knowledge of Threading, Async Programming, Fast API, OO Design. - Experience with ETL with large data and optimizations for performance. - Pub/Sub, Message Bus design and implementations. Kafka/AMPS preferred. - Working in large sized teams that collaboratively develop on a shared multi-repo codebase. (VsCode) • Hands-on engagement in the full software lifecycle activities is expected • Requirements analysis, architecture design, coding, testing, and deployment • Strong knowledge of development and testing practices common to the industry and design and architectural patterns • Expert Python development skills • Hands-on experience in application development in one or more areas MongoDB, Redis, React Framework, Impala, Autosys, FAST API services, Containerization • Work in large sized teams that collaboratively develop on a shared multi-repo codebase using IDEs (e.g. VS Code rather than Jupyter Notebooks), Continuous Integration (CI), Continuous Deployment (CD) and Continuous Testing • Hands-on DevOps experience with one or more of the following enterprise development tools: Version Control (GIT/Bitbucket), Build Orchestration (Jenkins), Code Quality (SonarQube and pytest Unit Testing), Artifact Management (Artifactory) and Deployment (Ansible) • Experience with agile development methodologies and building supportability into applications • Strong understanding of software architecture principles • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills • Self-starter • Able to break down complex problems into smaller problems, manage dependencies, and efficiently drive through to a solution • Detail oriented & highly organized • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively to a wide range of audience (business stakeholders, developer & support teams) • Adaptable to shifting & competing priorities • Committed and pro-active in ensuring high quality of service Desired skills: • Experience with developing frameworks and tools specific to AI/ML applications • Familiarity with cloud platforms and development in cloud environments
