Python FastAPI Developer

Key Responsibilities • Build high-performance RESTful APIs using FastAPI framework with async/await patterns for scalable backend services. • Create comprehensive API specifications leveraging FastAPI's automatic OpenAPI/Swagger documentation features. • Develop FastAPI modules, perform testing, and manage production deployments. • Integrate with external APIs and troubleshoot data and performance issues. Required Skills • 3+ years of hands-on Python development with strong expertise in FastAPI framework. • 3+ years of experience with: • Asynchronous programming (async/await) • Pydantic models • Dependency injection patterns • Proficient in database design for SQL and NoSQL (PostgreSQL, MongoDB). • Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools and processes. • Understanding of JWT tokens, API security, and RESTful design principles. Preferred Skills • Knowledge of FHIR interoperability standards. • Good understanding of Material Design and MUI components. • Hands-on experience implementing OAuth 2.0/OIDC authentication flows. • Familiarity with SPA frameworks such as React or Angular. • Understanding of frontend testing libraries. • Working knowledge of Ping Identity products (PingFederate, PingOne, PingAccess).
