Job Title – Full Stack Engineer Job Type – Hybrid Job Location – 151 Farmington Avenue, Hartford, CT 06156 Duration- 12 months contract Job Description: Required Qualifications • 5+ years of software development experience in enterprise/web applications • 5+ years of experience as a full stack developer building production REST APIs and microservices using Node.js/Express (or comparable Java Spring Boot/FastAPI stacks), including: • OpenAPI/Swagger contract design — authoring and maintaining OpenAPI 3.x specs and generating Swagger UI documentation • Authentication middleware — implementing JWT/OIDC validation and request-context propagation in Express (or equivalent) • 4+ years of experience with Cloud Technologies such as Google Cloud Platform (preferred), Azure, or other public cloud • services, including hands-on use of Google open-source SDKs and packages • 3+ years of experience building front-end applications with Angular (v15+) and TypeScript, including Angular Material/CDK, RxJS, reactive forms, routing, and SCSS; ability to develop effective engineering practices and processes with responsive UI design and development. Experience with data visualization libraries such as Chart.js and client-side PDF/export tooling is highly desirable • Experience building ETL pipelines using BigQuery, Python, and PySpark • 3+ years of experience in Agile development practices, including: • CI/CD with GitHub Actions — authoring workflows, reusable actions, matrix builds, secrets/OIDC-based cloud auth, and • environment-gated deployments • Containerized deployments to GKE — writing Dockerfiles, publishing images to Artifact Registry, and deploying via Helm Core Kubernetes concepts — Deployments, Services, Ingress, ConfigMaps, Secrets, HPA, namespaces, RBAC, liveness/readiness probes, and resource requests/limits GCP skill is totally negotiable if a candidate possesses another cloud experience. Please find the skill sets listed below:- Must-Have Skills • Python Frameworks: Strong mastery of FastAPI or Django. • SQL: Deep understanding of database design and complex queries. • AI Knowledge: Basic-to-mid level understanding of ML concepts or LLM integration. • React: Expert proficiency in React 18+ and core hooks. • OOP & Functional: Dual mindset for writing clean, optimized Python code. • API Design: Proven experience building endpoints for high data throughput. • Cloud Experience: Hands-on infrastructure knowledge with GCP or AWS. Good-to-Have Skills • Data Orchestration: Basic experience with tools like Apache Airflow. • Performance Optimization: Frontend data virtualization (e.g., react-window) for massive datasets. • NoSQL & Caching: Familiarity with Redis, MongoDB, or Elasticsearch. • Data Libraries: Exposure to Python tools like Pandas, NumPy, or Pydantic. • Next.js / Remix: Experience with modern SSR React frameworks. Optional Skills • Big Data Tools: Familiarity with PySpark for large-scale processing. • CI/CD & DevOps: Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and GitHub Actions.
