Role description
Job Title: Python Tech Lead Location: London (Hybrid) Job Type: Contract Responsibilities: • Proven expertise in Network Operational Automation and Provisioning, including the development of Network Intent APIs using Python, Ansible, and related programming languages. Skilled in backend service development using frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, and Django, as well as equivalent platforms in Java or other languages. • Experienced in containerization with Docker and designing microservices architectures, with a strong ability to architect, deploy, and manage scalable and resilient systems. • Skilled in CI/CD practices, with hands-on experience in GitHub workflows. Demonstrated success in automating build, test, and deployment pipelines to enhance development efficiency. • Proficient in API design and development, with a deep understanding of RESTful principles and authentication mechanisms. Capable of leading API strategy, development, and integration initiatives. Desired Skills and Qualifications • Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar. Familiar with monitoring and observability practices including logging, tracing, and alerting, with experience integrating SRE principles into open-source tools like Grafana and ELK stack. • Expertise in cloud technologies across public, private, and hybrid environments (DC, AWS, Azure, GCP), and across diverse network domains including WAN, SD-WAN, LAN, and WLAN. Certifications such as CCNP/CCIE or equivalent are preferred. • Extensive experience in algorithm design, analysis, and optimization, with a strong aptitude for enhancing performance and efficiency in software solutions.
