Python/AI Developer

RESPONSIBILITIES: Kforce has a client in Palo Alto, CA that is seeking a Python/AI Developer for on onsite, contract role. Responsibilities: • Help design and develop AI-driven agents that improve user experiences across voice, text, and multi-modal interfaces • Develop AI Agents for customer support, decision-making, and automated workflows • Integrate RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) systems into real-world applications • Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and product managers to deliver scalable AI features REQUIREMENTS: • Strong Python development experience (production-level) • Solid understanding of software engineering best practices code quality, version control, testing, CI/CD • Hands-on experience building or integrating RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) systems; Tools: LangChain, FAISS, Pinecone or equivalent • Ability to connect AI agents with knowledge bases and transactional systems (APIs, databases) • Proven experience developing AI agents or chatbots • Knowledge of multi-modal interfaces (voice, text, etc.) • Familiarity with STT/TTS technologies and voice frameworks (e.g., liveKit) • Experience with API development and integration • Proficiency in data contracts (e.g., protobuf, REST) • Experience connecting to databases such as PostgreSQL or similar The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
