Responsibilities • Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and scripts for FIS IBS modules. • Perform functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing across end‑to‑end banking workflows. • Validate core banking transactions: account opening, loan origination, interest/fee calculations, reconciliations, etc. • Work with BAs, developers, and product owners to convert requirements into test scenarios. • Identify, log, and track defects using JIRA, ALM, Azure DevOps or similar tools. • Perform SQL-based data validation and back-end testing for IBS databases. • Conduct impact analysis for enhancements, patches, and IBS upgrades; maintain regression test suites. • Prepare test documentation (test summary, traceability matrix, defect reports). • Collaborate with onshore/offshore teams and FIS vendor support. • Participate in Agile ceremonies (planning, grooming, retros). • Ensure testing alignment with compliance/audit standards. Required Qualifications • 4–8 years of QA/testing experience, including 3+ years in FIS IBS. • Primary domain expertise in Core Banking — Retail, Corporate, Loans, and Deposits (mandatory). • Strong experience across core banking modules: GL, Payments (SWIFT/SEPA/RTGS/ACH), Treasury. • Solid understanding of FIS IBS architecture, configuration, and workflows. • Proficiency in SQL for data validation and back-end testing. • Hands-on experience with test management tools (ALM, JIRA+Zephyr, Azure Test Plans). • Knowledge of SDLC/STLC in both Waterfall and Agile methodologies. • Familiarity with regulatory requirements (AML, KYC, Basel, IFRS 9). • Strong analytical and communication skills; ability to create clear test documentation.
