Key Responsibilities
β’ Lead integration testing involving internal and external applications, ensuring seamless interaction and data flow.
β’ Develop and execute API testing strategies for RESTful and SOAP services using industry-standard tools.
β’ Design test cases to validate integrations with AWS and Google cloud services, Confluent Kafka, and On Prem SQL Servers.
β’ Collaborate with development, DevOps, and product teams to define integration points and performance benchmarks.
β’ Plan and perform performance testing on cloud-based applications leveraging AWS and Google Cloud components.
β’ Utilize performance testing tools (LoadRunner, Postman) for load, stress, and endurance testing.
β’ Analyze performance test results to identify bottlenecks and provide actionable recommendations.
β’ Ensure test environments replicate production architectures, including cloud infrastructure configurations.
β’ Mentor and lead test engineers on best practices in integration, API, and cloud performance testing.
β’ Report testing progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders clearly and timely.
Qualifications
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
β’ 5+ years of experience in integration and performance testing, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
β’ Strong expertise in API testing (REST, SOAP) with tools such as Postman, SoapUI, or similar.
β’ Hands-on experience testing cloud solutions on AWS and Google Cloud Platform.
β’ Familiarity with AWS components, Confluent Kafka, GCP components.
β’ Proficient with performance testing tools like JMeter, k6, Gatling, Grafana
β’ Experience with test automation frameworks and scripting languages (Java, Python).
β’ Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
β’ Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
β’ Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
β’ Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect, ISTQB.
β’ Experience with SaaS or cloud-native application testing.
