Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Qlik Lead Developer with strong Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance domain expertise to lead reporting, analytics, and business intelligence initiatives. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience designing and developing QlikView and/or Qlik Sense solutions, working closely with business stakeholders, data teams, and insurance operations teams.
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Lead the design, development, and implementation of QlikView and Qlik Sense dashboards and reporting solutions.
β’ Gather business requirements and translate them into scalable analytics solutions.
β’ Develop and optimize data models, ETL processes, and reporting frameworks.
β’ Work directly with business users, underwriting, claims, policy administration, and executive leadership teams.
β’ Support reporting and analytics for Property & Casualty Insurance operations.
β’ Troubleshoot performance issues and optimize dashboard performance.
β’ Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership to the BI team.
β’ Collaborate with data engineering and business teams to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
β’ Participate in architecture discussions and analytics strategy planning.
Required Skills:
β’ 8+ years of QlikView and/or Qlik Sense development experience.
β’ Prior experience as a Lead Developer or Technical Lead.
β’ Strong SQL development and data modeling skills.
β’ Experience with ETL processes and data integration.
β’ Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
β’ Experience working in Agile environments.
Mandatory Domain Experience:
β’ Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance experience is required.
β’ Strong understanding of:
β’ Policy Administration
β’ Claims Management
β’ Underwriting
β’ Billing and Premium Processing
β’ Insurance Reporting and Analytics
Preferred Qualifications:
β’ Experience with Duck Creek, Guidewire, CyberLife, or similar insurance platforms.
β’ Azure Data Platform experience.
β’ Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence experience.
β’ Experience leading offshore/onshore teams.
