Role Overview As a Business Intelligence Developer, you will design and deliver interactive reporting solutions using modern BI tools, with a strong focus on Qlik Sense. You will work closely with business partners to understand their data needs and translate them into scalable, user-friendly dashboards and applications. This role combines technical expertise in data modeling and SQL with a strong sense of visual storytelling, enabling users to explore data and make informed decisions with confidence. Key Responsibilities Dashboard Development & Visualization Create and maintain dynamic, interactive dashboards that present complex data in a clear and engaging format, enabling users to easily interpret trends and performance metrics. Stakeholder Collaboration Partner with business teams to gather requirements, define key performance indicators, and ensure analytics solutions align with organizational goals. Data Modeling & Architecture Design and optimize data models that support efficient querying and scalable reporting, ensuring high performance and data integrity. Data Preparation & Transformation Develop and refine SQL queries to extract, transform, and structure data from multiple sources for reporting and analysis. Data Quality & Governance Ensure consistency, accuracy, and usability of data across all reporting solutions, maintaining high standards for data reliability. Insight Generation Translate complex datasets into actionable insights through thoughtful visualization design and analytical interpretation. Documentation & Enablement Document data models, dashboards, and best practices to support long-term usability and enable self-service analytics. Process Optimization Identify opportunities to streamline reporting workflows, improve efficiency, and enhance overall analytics capabilities. What You Bring BI Development Expertise Proven experience building dashboards and analytics applications using tools such as Qlik Sense or similar platforms. SQL & Data Handling Strong proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational databases to prepare and manage data. Data Modeling Knowledge Understanding of data structures, including schemas and relationships, to support scalable analytics solutions. Visualization & Storytelling Ability to present data in a clear, intuitive way that drives understanding and decision-making. Analytical Thinking Capability to interpret complex data and translate it into meaningful business insights. Communication Skills Strong ability to collaborate with stakeholders and clearly articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Education Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. Preferred Experience Exposure to data initiatives related to social impact, sustainability, or mission-driven programs. Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes. Experience integrating and harmonizing data from multiple systems. Knowledge of additional BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
