Quantitative Analytics Developer (W2)

Job Title: Quantitative Analytics Developer (W2) Location: McLean, VA Duration: 6+ months MOI: Face 2 Face Visa: US Citizen or Green Card Notes: • Manager is looking for 3+ years of quantitative experience. • Onsite – Must work onsite (All 5 days). Description: • At least 3 years of hands-on software development using Python and/or Java with knowledge of application, data and architecture design patterns and principles. • Experience in SAS development • Strong experience in: -Data analytics -Statistical modelling -Data warehousing -Data quality -Data migration -Data integration -Data enrichment -Designing -Coding -Reporting -Testing • Expertise in: -SQL -Databases (Sybase, Oracle or UDB) -Microsoft Office tools (Access, Excel, Power Point, Word) • Must Have Qualifications: Front end focus with some back-end support, Angular - most recent four versions of angular (version 16 and up), framework for UI standards, front end design and UI development. • Preferred: React Responsibilities: • Partner closely with various stakeholders to influence decisions with data and allow leaders to make key business decisions in a timely manner • Codify already available methodologies into functional codes and create an automation dashboard (using SAS, Python and React libraries) • Working as a part of a team to support line of business areas with more advanced statistical and quantitative analysis. • Ability to run models, look for exceptions and take corrective actions where necessary • Use technology tools to conduct analysis; apply techniques such as SQL querying and macro development to extract data for populating models • Gain a good understanding of the relevant processes and products in assigned area and apply this knowledge to decide the most appropriate analysis, methodologies and approaches to support the assessment of performance and risk profile of MF population • Interpret findings and prepare initial drafts of standard reports. • Prepare ad-hoc reports at the request of managers and/or other leaders • Translate complex technical concepts and analyses to non-technical audiences Rajeev Kumar Recruitment Lead Email: Rajeev@votoconsulting.com Phone: 201-331-7226
