Role description
Motion Consulting Group (MCG), a Kelly Company, is responding to an enterprise RFP for a resource management solution. The client is a Fortune 50 medical device organization that runs capacity planning on spreadsheets today across six business pillars, roughly 300 named users, and approximately 1,000 tracked resources spanning full-time employees and contingent contractors. We are seeking a skilled Quickbase Business Analyst to join our team and drive the successful implementation, optimization, and management of Quickbase applications across the organization. The ideal candidate will blend technical acumen, business analysis skills, and a passion for process improvement to deliver innovative, user-centric solutions that increase productivity and support business goals. Key Responsibilities: β€’ Collect, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders through interviews, workshops, and observation. β€’ Design, develop, configure, and maintain Quickbase applications to support business processes and enhance operational efficiency. β€’ Translate business needs and processes into functional Quickbase workflows, reports, dashboards, and integrations. β€’ Act as Quickbase subject matter expert, guiding best practices, data governance, and platform capabilities. β€’ Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, operations, finance, etc.) to ensure alignment and successful solution delivery. β€’ Develop and execute test scenarios to validate requirements and ensure quality assurance before deployment. β€’ Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and training for end-users of Quickbase applications. β€’ Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation; recommend scalable solutions. β€’ Maintain documentation of system configurations, processes, and user guides. β€’ Stay informed about Quickbase updates, features, and best practices to leverage new capabilities. Qualifications: β€’ Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience). β€’ 2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Application Administrator; previous Quickbase experience preferred. β€’ Proven experience designing, building, and maintaining Quickbase or similar low-code/no-code platforms. β€’ Strong understanding of relational database concepts, workflow automation, and reporting. β€’ Excellent communication, documentation, and presentation skills with the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical audiences. β€’ Analytical and problem-solving mindset, with commitment to delivering high-quality solutions. β€’ Experience with APIs, data integrations, and cloud SaaS applications is a plus. β€’ Quickbase certifications and familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile) are advantageous.
