RCI-ABBV-32001 Empower Data Management Specialist / Chemist

This position is fully remote. Normal business hours. Location: Remote, Lake County or Worchester Will work in CST hours. Should be an expert in CDM software. Will not be gathering data but would be doing calculation and compiling and creating report. • High School diploma or associate degree will work but should have required experience. • Less R&D and more QA QC background needed. • Candidate should know how custom calculations work with in Chromatography data systems. • Chromatography data systems: Easy chrome, • chromatography data exp is a must have. • LIMS exp is a plus. • 6 plus yrs of exp needed in lab. • Background in chromatography • Ability to understand test methods in lab. • Interprets laboratory test methods related to chromatography for the calculations and formulas needed to generate results. • support 20 quality sites • Quality lab service personnel • Administrative role with quality systems • some chromatography exp in lab setting needed. • project oriented and working with deliverable originating from 20 plus sites. • HPLC or LC or GC exp • Looking for exposure to chromatography data systems to calculate and do the reports. • Empower exp is a must have. • Senior analyst or SME • Bachelor’s degree in science field will work. • Good document practices and GXP exp needed. • Bachelor’s degree with 3-5 yrs exp will be considered depending on experience. • Master’s degree will be considered. Top Skills • Validation in a GXP environment • Chromatography exp (Processing and reporting of data) • Understanding of Laboratory test method (Analytical test method) Team's focus is on quality systems supporting the quality laboratories. The team is looking for technical support in candidates that have experience in either lab or supporting laboratories with chromatographic data management systems, such as Empower. Responsibilities: • Supports global laboratories with ongoing projects related to Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS), in particular Thermo Sample Manager. • Interprets laboratory test methods for the calculations and formulas needed to generate results. • Compiles custom calculation fields in LIMS (Sample Manager) which are needed to calculate laboratory results in the system. • Chromatographic Data Systems (CDS, such as Empower) are a secondary goal for this resource. • Drafts documents which will serve as guidelines for the laboratory to use calculations and report results. • Follows calculation validation processes related to laboratory quality applications. • Reports to Quality Systems support team. Desired experience: • Laboratory analyst with chromatography experience, preferably Sample Manager LIMS. • Lab administration, supporting quality systems used by the laboratory. • Understanding of CDS such as Empower or Chromeleon. • Scientific background with experience following analytical test methods. • Multi-site or multi-stakeholder project work supporting laboratory quality systems.
