RE / Zscaler Operations Specialist

Akkodis is seeking a RE / Zscaler Operations Specialist Hybrid in Jacksonville, Florida, for a Contract Position in the United States. Pay Range: $53-$56/hr. (The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Key Responsibilities • Provide operational support for enterprise mobility, remote access, and end-user computing platforms. • Support and troubleshoot Zscaler technologies including ZPA, ZIA, and ZDX. • Manage service incidents, outages, problem investigations, and change management activities. • Coordinate Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity Planning (BCP) exercises and reviews. • Analyze packet captures and troubleshoot connectivity, authentication, and performance issues. • Partner with engineering teams, vendors, and service desk teams to resolve complex technical issues. • Create and maintain knowledge articles, standard operating procedures, FAQs, and operational documentation. • Develop automation opportunities to reduce manual operational tasks and improve efficiency. • Monitor service health and capacity trends to ensure platform availability and performance. • Support governance activities related to access management and security controls. • Assist with monitoring dashboard creation, reporting, and operational metrics analysis. • Provide Unix and Windows server administration support related to remote access services. • Perform deployment analysis, operational risk assessments, and deployment readiness reviews. • Generate deployment status reports and executive-level operational updates. • Drive continuous service improvement initiatives and incident reduction efforts. Required Qualifications Zscaler Expertise • Strong understanding of Zscaler architecture including: • ZPA (Zscaler Private Access) • ZIA (Zscaler Internet Access) • ZDX (Zscaler Digital Experience) • Experience deploying ZPA, ZIA, and ZDX in large enterprise environments. • Experience supporting and troubleshooting Zscaler environments. • Strong knowledge of Zscaler Client Connector (ZCC) and packet analysis. Networking & Infrastructure • Strong understanding of: • OSI Model • TCP/IP • LAN/WAN technologies • Firewalls • Load Balancers • Web Application Firewalls (WAF) • Experience with enterprise networking and data center environments. Security • Strong understanding of: • Certificates and PKI • Cryptography • Authentication and Authorization • Security protocols and controls • Experience implementing and supporting enterprise security solutions. • Knowledge of information security and IT risk management principles. Operations & Monitoring • Experience with Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes. • Experience with monitoring tools and operational dashboards. • Experience with SIEM platforms such as Splunk, including dashboard customization and reporting. Technical Administration • Experience supporting Windows and Unix/Linux server environments. • Experience troubleshooting application deployment and endpoint issues. • Understanding of the full project lifecycle and operational transition processes. Qualifications • Experience supporting large-scale enterprise environments (100,000+ endpoints). • Experience with Microsoft Intune and MobileIron. • Experience developing operational automation solutions. • ITIL certification or strong ITSM process knowledge. • Experience working with globally distributed support teams and third-party vendors.
