Regulatory Reporting Developer

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Axiom SL Developer to join our Regulatory Reporting Technology team. The successful candidate will work closely with business analysts, data analysts, and reporting teams to develop, enhance, and maintain Axiom SL-based regulatory reporting solutions. This role requires a solid understanding of financial products, regulatory requirements, and hands-on experience with the Axiom Controller. Key Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and maintain regulatory reporting solutions using Axiom SL ControllerView. • Build and optimize Data Sources, Data Models, Portfolios, Aggregations, Free Form Templates, and Shorthands. • Work with SQL and relational databases to source and transform regulatory data. • Collaborate with Business Analysts to understand reporting requirements and translate them into technical solutions. • Perform unit testing, support UAT, and assist with deployment and post-go-live support. • Optimize existing Axiom SL configurations and processes for performance and compliance. • Ensure adherence to internal controls and regulatory compliance standards. • Document technical designs, processes, and data flows. Required Skills & Qualifications: • 7-8 years of hands-on experience with Axiom SL ControllerView platform. • Strong knowledge of regulatory reporting (e.g., Basel III, CRD IV, FINREP, COREP, FR Y-9C, FFIEC, etc.). • Proficient in SQL, relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server), and data transformation. • Familiarity with financial products (loans, derivatives, securities, etc.) and accounting principles. • Experience with version control tools (e.g., Git) and SDLC processes. • Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with regulatory reporting in banks or financial institutions. • Familiarity with ETL tools, data governance, or data quality frameworks. • Exposure to cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus. • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or related field. • Knowledge of other reporting platforms (e.g., OneSumX, Lombard Risk) is a plus.
