About The Role Release Coordinator Client - AmeriHealth Location - 2 days/week on-site in Newtown Sq, PA Comp - $60/hr C2C - can flex for a solid candidate but I would really like to hit $60/hr C2C on this one if we can Work Status - USC/GC Notes - This is coordinator level - please do not target high level senior fits - Release Manager can be a ranging title so dont role out all release managers because of title Overview Our Greater Philadelphia area client is looking for a Release Coordinator to join their team. This is a permanent role by way of contract-to-hire. Position Description Own end‑to‑end coordination of patching, reboots, and releases across 30+ systems; lead Saturday validations Manage ITSM tickets (Ivanti/ServiceNow) and act as central point across Dev, QA, Infra, and PM teams Drive release readiness (checklists, validation, checkpoints) to ensure production‑ready changes Communicate outages, releases, and impacts; support go‑live and ensure production stability Build reporting, dashboards, and metrics; review requirements to catch gaps/risks and support CI/CD‑aligned releases Required Skills • 3+ years experience in Release Coordination coordinating releases, deployments, or patching cycles across multiple systems • Strong understanding of SDLC, testing environments, and release processes • Hands-on experience with ITSM tools (Ivanti, ServiceNow, etc.) • Ability to drive release readiness and hold teams accountable for quality and timelines • Strong communication skills across Dev, QA, Infra, and business stakeholders • Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments • Experience working with release reporting, dashboards, or metrics tracking • Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, tracking, reporting) • Ability to review and interpret requirements, identifying gaps or inconsistencies • Strong troubleshooting mindset with ability to escalate and resolve issues quickly Bonus Skills • Experience in infrastructure environments (patching, reboots, system validations) • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern release processes • Experience working in or alongside DevOps teams • Experience in insurance or healthcare payer environments • Experience building or improving release dashboards, reporting, or metrics frameworks Key Responsibilities & Skills • Release Coordination & Deployment • Patch Management & System Validation • Release Readiness & Checklist Governance • ITSM Ticket Management (Ivanti / ServiceNow) • Cross-Functional Communication (Dev, QA, Infra, Business) • SDLC & Testing Environment Knowledge • Requirement Gap & Risk Analysis • Production Outage Communication • Release Metrics & Dashboard Reporting • Excel Advanced (Pivot Tables, Tracking) Technical Skills • Ivanti / ServiceNow (ITSM) • Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, Reporting) • CI/CD Pipeline Concepts (Jenkins / Azure DevOps / GitLab) • Dashboard Tools (Power BI / Tableau) • Release Automation Tools (Octopus Deploy / Azure Release Pipelines) Education Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, Health Informatics, Healthcare Management.
