Release Developer

Release Developer - £460 - £495 per day (umbrella rate) Contract Duration: 12 months Location: UK (Hybrid/Remote) Onsite: London/Manchester (as required by the client) Eligibility: Must be a UK Citizen with a minimum of 5 years' UK residency and currently based in the UK. Role: Atrium EMEA are supporting a large managed service provider looking for a Release Developer with strong expertise in Java, GitLab, and CI/CD to help drive the successful delivery of enterprise applications. You'll be responsible for managing release pipelines, supporting deployments, troubleshooting issues, and improving software delivery processes across multiple teams. Key Skills Required Strong Java development experience Hands-on experience with GitLab and GitLab CI/CD Expertise in CI/CD pipeline design and maintenance Docker, Maven, and Nexus experience Knowledge of software versioning, branching strategies, and merge conflict resolution Strong troubleshooting, log analysis, and root cause analysis skills Understanding of application architecture and cross-team dependencies Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Nice to Have Exposure to JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.js Experience working in Agile/DevOps environments This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong Release Developer who enjoys automating delivery processes, solving complex deployment challenges, and collaborating with development teams in a fast-paced environment.
