Remediation Data Analyst – 18-Month Contract
Location: London – Hybrid (2 days per week)
Contract Length: 18 months
IR35: In scope
Security Clearance: BPSS, with SC clearance process following appointment
Pay Rate to Candidate: UMBRELLA £400
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Remediation Data Analyst to join a leading organisation on an exciting 18-month contract based in London.
This role would suit a data-focused professional with strong banking and remediation experience, who is confident working with large datasets and has hands-on experience using R and/or Python and Excel.
The Role
As a Remediation Data Analyst, you will support remediation activity through detailed data analysis, investigation and reporting. You will work with complex datasets to identify discrepancies, investigate exceptions and provide accurate analysis to support key business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
• Analyse and manipulate large datasets to support remediation activity.
• Identify and investigate data discrepancies, anomalies and exceptions.
• Use R and/or Python for data analysis and manipulation.
• Use Excel for reconciliation, validation, analysis and reporting.
• Produce accurate MI and reporting for key stakeholders.
• Identify data quality issues and recommend appropriate resolutions.
• Maintain clear documentation and audit trails.
• Work closely with business, data and operational teams throughout the remediation process.
• Ensure analysis is accurate, robust and completed within agreed timescales.
Essential Experience
We are looking for candidates with:
• Proven remediation experience.
• Previous banking or financial services experience.
• Strong R and/or Python experience.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong attention to detail when working with complex and sensitive data.
• The ability to communicate analytical findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Security Clearance
The successful candidate will require BPSS clearance and will be expected to undergo the SC clearance process once in post.
